"Bubnu" is the Czech word for drum, a moniker my husband and I used for our older son when he was in utero, since we spent an anniversary in Prague and stayed at the U Tri Bubnu. When we came back to the States, I found out I had been prego during our trip, so we dubbed our son "the bubnu".
I love working with my hands and collecting quirky and vintage items that were well made. I have been sewing, knitting and doing pottery for many years, as I appreciate when creativity blends well with functionality. I aim for my sewed and knitted items to be stylish, but also comfortable and cozy. With pottery, I love the challenge of trying to create a utilitarian object that is well balanced so it feels right in your hand.
Thanks for looking at my shop, and feel free to convo me with any questions!
